Finding others with the same results

Similar to Y chromosome testing, you might want to post your mitochondrial DNA results to some public databases. One place to post results is mitosearch.org at www.mitosearch.org (see Figure 10-9). If you want to find results of mitochondrial tests performed by the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation, see the Mitochondrial Database at www.smgf.org/ mtdna/search.jspx. To find more information on mitochondrial DNA scientific databases, check out MITOMAP at www.mitomap.org and MitEURO at www.miteuro.org.
